Thank you, Shiro. I appreciate it. I spoke to Keith earlier about this, but I saw a group-wide message about birthdays earlier today. When is your birthday, Shiro?
[ before shiro leaves to go on his dates, he'll find a little gift box on the floor in front of his bedroom door. there's a little card that comes with it that reads: ]
Happy Valentine's Day, Shiro! Thank you for everything that you've done for me. I truly don't have enough words to express my gratitude. I hope this box of chocolates will suffice.
[All Shiro will get when Roxas picks up is a long, drawn out noise that's almost like whining.]
.... Shiro, I... [SEE THIS IS WHY HE WANTED TO TEXT so his voice gets tiny] I invited someone to go to the amusement park with me but I don't know what I'm doing and what if he thinks it's a date?
[ Oh. Well... He's glad Roxas has a new god. Part of him is a little sad, but... it was going to go like this, right?
Still. ]
I'm glad you found a new god. Soleil is a great person--she'll take care of you. But if you need anything, or just want to hang out, you can always come to me.
I had tea with Sora, and it was nice. I'm trying to remember if I ever told you what happened at the amusement park. Because I might need some help to figure something out.
[It's very early in the morning when Keith wakes up, panicked and shocked from the sheer amount of information that's suddenly come flooding back to him. And that's... definitely what it is, isn't it? Information that's come back, not some weird, overly complex dream that wormed its way into his mind through the course of the night. Right?
He knows, however, no matter what the case may be, this is something that he can't just keep to himself. As soon as he's got his bearings back, he rushes out of his room, going to find the person who absolutely needs to know about this. To his room, then, not bothering to knock or give him any kind of warning before throwing the door open to let himself in.]
[ He's been thinking about it a lot, lately. Shiro doesn't blame Keith at all; how could he when it's not his fault? Still... it's upsetting, though the word doesn't begin to describe that.
Shiro's already up--he wakes early, and he's in the midst of his early morning workout when Keith opens the door. Immediately, he's on high alert, and he gets to his feet quicker than anyone who's as big as he is has any right to be. ]

Is that a crater in the middle of your room?
And... what is that in the corner?
no subject
Yes.
This isn't something that's just part of your temple grounds?
[Sometimes temples come with their own critters, bizarre or otherwise, and he just... sort of assumed that's what was happening here?]

There's a note that says:]
Happy belated birthday, Shiro! Sorry for not being able to give these to you sooner.
[In the box is a white lion plush. Around its neck is a white wayfinder, even if Shiro doesn't know what that means to Ventus personally.]
